Homelessness is dramatically increasing on the Central Coast. In the past year, there has been a staggering 110% rise in the number of people becoming homeless on our streets; making the Central Coast the worst region in NSW for homelessness.
Families with four or more children are sleeping in their cars, on the streets, in parks and even in caves in our local bush land.

- The relief of financial hardship:
- To benefit the community for those in genuine financial need. Emergency housing and accommodation, showers, emergency food hampers, food, clothing, toiletries, petrol vouchers, white goods, donations, gifts, holding fundraising events; i.e. “pay it forward” theme, e.g. Operation Dennis – (inability to pay for treatment). Helping people who are homeless, those who are suffering from the effects of old age, sickness, which have no family support.
- The advancement of Education:
- Facilitation of Interactive Recruitment workshops which will have a community service and charitable purpose. Focus will be on the homeless, long term unemployed, and disadvantaged youth. Providing work related training e.g. resume preparation; interviewing techniques; personal grooming, goal setting workshops to assist in looking for employment.
